Children in Year 6 at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, performed their leavers' play, 'Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies', to a packed hall of parents, carers and family members.
The talented pupils impressed everyone with the enthusiasm of their performance and sheer confidence in the way they sang, danced and acted. Following the show, all of the Year 6 children received their leavers' certificates from ex-staff member Dosha Salisbury.
Headteacher Matt Woolard then presented some children with cups to recognise their academic achievements.
The winners of the Achievement Cups were:
Reading Assessments - 1st Amelia Anakwue; 2nd Elliot Chow; 3rd Teri Sandford
Writing Assessments - 1st Valentino Milen; 2nd Amelia Anakwue; 3rd Abigail King.
Mathematics Assessments - 1st Elliot Chow; 2nd Oliver Anderson; 3rd Amelia Anakwue.
Citizenship Awards – Ryan Overill and Emily Petty
Sports’ Awards – Harry Snow and Lily Wingrove
Arts’ Awards – Daniel Atsev and Gabija Bijeikyte
ICT Awards – Connor Oxley and Olivia White.
Headteacher Matt Woolard said, "We are so proud of this particular group of children who have achieved so much in so many ways throughout their time with us.
"We wish them well as they start the next phase of their lives at secondary school."
